The Astor-Bannerman Carlo mobile patient hoists are available in both Classic & Comfort models and have been specifically designed for day to day patient handling issues.  Due to the use of aluminium and stainless steel the Carlo mobile hoists can be used in any bathing and wet room environment and are lightweight so easy to manoeuvre. 

All Astor-Bannerman mobile hoists come with many options as standard such as the dynamic balance positioning system with standard loop slings on the Carlo Classic hoist and 4 point positioning spreader-bar with specially designed quick clip slings on the Carlo Comfort model. 

The Carlo Classic and Comfort mobile hoists both feature powered leg positioning, state of the art diagnostics, ergonomic grip positioning and, dual closed castors which are designed not to clog up with carpet fibres or debris.

We believe this hoist system will allow the caregiver much more flexibility, while still enabling the client to be hoisted in a dignified and secure position.

The Carlo Mobile Hoists are ideal for use in Changing Places facilities where an XY Ceiling Track Hoist is unachievable
