Description

• A Green coloured shower former with a pre-formed minimum fall of 2%.

Advantages

• Slimline - 22mm at the outer edges allowing barrier-free installation with most timber applications in the UK.
• Easy to install - it simply replaces the area where the floorboards have been removed.

Composition

• The unit is composed of GRP (Glass reinforced plastic) resin and graded silica fillers. There is a fully encapsulated wooden frame for stability.

Trimming and Drilling

• The moulded base cannot be cut or trimmed as this would compromise the Structure and strength of the shower base.
• The material is non-brittle and can therefore drilled usin a masonry drill.

Waterproof

• GRP and resin is waterproof. This has been tested for water absorption (ASTM C413) giving a result of 0.2%

Fireproof

• Tested to German standard DIN4102 giving it class B!, the highest category for this class.

Density

• 1200 x 1200 = 26kg

Strength

• Results from laboratory testing shows the tray, supported just at each corner, supported 1m apart can hold a central load of at least 300kg.
• The tray is not deformed by point loading. It is therefore suitable for use with wheelchairs.

Drainage

• All moulded bases have an in-built gradient leading to the drain that is designed to fit the Phleximax drainage gulley.

To assist adhesion of any vinyl product to the deck it is recommended that prior to fitting the deck it's surface is scuffed using an abrasive such as sandpaper.
